No matter how long you have gone without talking to God, without being in His presence, as soon as you turn back to Him, He is right there. With open arms, just waiting for you. And then He embraces you, and you can feel His overwhelming love. His peace and comfort, and everything is okay again.

He’s a really good God.

ok can we agree that the WORST feeling is when you’re just sitting around consciously procrastinating and you’re just overly aware that each second that passes is more time wasted and you like watch hours pass and you’re STILL procrastinating and you CANT STOP and your panicked brain is trapped inside a body that refuses to be productive and inside you’re screaming but outwardly you’re just eating chips

Let’s break down the idea that you have to love yourself before anyone else loves you. there are so many reasons a person may have a hard time loving themselves, including mental health or trauma. this just reinforces the idea that those people will not be able to have their love reciprocated. No one is saying that self love isn’t important, but we need to stop telling people they are unlovable, and teach people that they are deserving of support and love on their good days and their bad.
